I just started Guild Wars so sorry if I sound like an annoying lil newbie but please help me. I have thought of being a Sword W/Mo or is Mo/W better i believe that the point of the game is PvP so i guess a PvP build can anyone please help me. I'm open to any impot thanks very much . And also can anyone tell me what PvE stands for?

PvE (pee vee eee) - n. Player vs. Environment. The mode of GW gameplay used for killing monsters of limited intelligence whilst in a party or solo...

Also, this is for build modification. Look at your stats, your skills, post them here, and we fix... OR, if you're still too confused, answer these questions...

PvP huh?

What's your role in pvp?

Are there tanks in pvp? [answer is no, monks tank in pvp usually but warriors? never]

What's your weapon in pvp?

Whats the best for a PvE character Mo/W or W/Mo?

for a sword using PvE char? W/Mo? For running? Mostly W/Mo (though I'm not saying it can't be done as Mo/W)

for farming? Mo/W...but you won't be swinging a weapon...you'd be smiting instead
